WEST LEBANON -An autopsy is being performed to determine the exact cause of death of Gerald Gaffer Hargan, 37, of Rt. 1, who dropped dead as he was driving home from a fishing trip with his 10-year-old son Brian, and a friend, Henry Lee Barron of West Lebanon. Officials said Mr. Hargan died at 8 a.m. Thursday of natural causes as he was driving the truck near Kenora, Ontario, Canada. He was born in Hening, III., and moved to Indiana in 1950. He graduated from West Lebanon High School and was married at Covington in 1961 to Georgia Claypool, who survives. He was a four-year veteran of the Marine Corps, serving in the Western Pacific. Mr. Hargan was a farmer and a dealer for Trojan Hybrid Seed Corn. He formerly worked as a truck driver hauling livestock and also worked for Kembel Enterprises of Milford, Ill. Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Tracie Junellen and a son, Brian F., both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hargan of Rt. 2, Williamsport and two sisters, Mrs. Don (Marilyn) Youngblood and Mrs. Jerry (Carolyn "Sis") James, both of Covington.  --typed by Walt W
